For a long time, I was tracking my progress toward the CIS Implementation Groups in the Excel spreadsheet that CIS provides. It’s a great spreadsheet. But then I tried to convert those to recurring tasks in Asana, Monday and Planner. Then I tried to build a dashboard with links to all my policies in Sharepoint, then I tried to build a webpage for all that, then I had lots of incomplete projects started and Google’d searching for software to assist me in this. I’m assuming those same Google searches are what brought you here.
Routetrees is meant to address this issue at an affordable price. Because like you, I also found a bunch of solutions out of my price range or an open source project that would take more time than I had to work on it.
So, is this a homegrown solution to meet a specific need? Yes. Will it grow over time to cover more areas? I hope so.
